⚠️ Do not adjust the day or date between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM, as this can damage the calendar mechanism during its changeover process.
Open the caseback and remove the used SR626SW battery using non-metallic tweezers.
Insert a new battery, ensuring correct polarity.
Perform an AC reset (if required) by touching the reset terminal with tweezers while bridging it to the battery edge.
Verify movement startup—second hand should tick once per second.
